starts soon: the Karbyk Official Team is present to the Carnival of
the Fantasy-vehicle of Imola (another special
place for the motor fans)… and even if there is no pure competition,
the 9° place is classified to on 45
partners. |

|
Always with the objective of “to know and to make know”, it participates
in the meeting of the Crazy Wheels in Roncadelle (PD):
the restrictive too rule however it allows only us to compete “out
contest.” |
|
 |
Presence
of obligation – and to like – to the Festival of the Sport in
Monza’s Motordrome, with the organization of a non
competitive meeting of Pedal Cars – working to the increase of the
Italian teams. |
|
|
|
Take part to the
4th European Championship of Pedal Cars. |
|
 |
We returns in
France
– always to Saint Etienne de Chigny – in the
ultra competitive competition with the best teams from 3
countries:
Italy
France and
Great Britain

2005 |
|
In
the far east - and more precisely to
Hong
Kong - within the annual
competition “24h Round Table” (competition of 24 hours for
harvest deep to devolve in beneficence) founded the classification devoted
to the Karbyk vehicles. |
|

Teams composed by
members of the “Royal Yacht Club” as “Cathay Pacific Airways” or
“Australian International School Foundation” (among the others) have
chosen the Karbyk for participating in this event that for us it is a
myth: from 1986 they has picked up something as 24 Million of U$
Dollars devolved in beneficent activity… |

But the event
of the year it’s the organization of the 3rd
edition of the European Championship of Pedal Cars:
it was not able not to be raced in the
Monza
’ Autodrome, symbol of the Italian car-racing
in the world. |

|
The Karbyk Official
Team gets the 2nd place – only team to be
always on the podium in the different editions till now disputed - France
2003 and England 2004. |
|
To October was
disputed “5° Gran Prix for Gift ” for the
Jest us, on the occasion of the World Day of the
Celiachia, with the share of pilots what Kristian Ghedina,
Paola Bortolin and Andrea Fogliato: always a new experience and always
enthusiastically. |

4th “G.P. per il Dono” – in occasion of “ecological’s
sundays” – with intention to support “Via di Natale” association
(assistance to terminal sick and them families). |

In Leicester (UK)
running 2nd European Championship of Pedal Cars, and Karbyk
Official Team take another time a podium place with 3rd
position on total 22 team presents. |
|
Presence at Festival of Sport in Monza with
agreement to start organization of 3rd European Championship really on
the mythical Autodrome in 2005 (10 years after the “birth” of the
Karbyk: a beautiful reached finish). |

The Karbyk Official Team organize, in collaboration with Press
Office of Regional Congress, a special event in occasion of
WinterUniversiadi, where the drivers are the journalist and authority
presents at Winter University Olimpic Games. |

Social activity continue with a realization
of 3rd “G.P. per il Dono”, where – in “substitution” of
“Frecce Tricolori” (your presence is not possibile at cause of
Irag war…) – can find the simpathy and humanity of VIP drivers Luca
Cappellari and Gianni Marchiol to help a campaign in favour of AFDS
and “Insieme si può” (family-home for disabled person). |

Born the First European Championship of Pedal
Cars; in
France
– Loira castle’s region - the Karbyk Official
Team obtained the Silver medal on 21 teams, with a presence of teams
from 3 countries:
Italy
,
France
and
United Kingdom

Is
one particularly intense year: the pilots of the acrobatic fly team "Frecce Tricolori" are present again with the Karbyk to
give 750,00 €uro
to the ADMO (Association Donors Bony Marrow) and to the AFDS
(Regional Association Donors Blood).

It
is continued to
Monza
’s
Motordrome with a Gran Prix for solidarity with representatives of Amnesty
International and the UNICEF.
For
how much it concerns sporting activity, the presence is repeated to
Leicester (UK) into English National Championship of Pedal Cars,
with the replica of the victory gotten in 2001.

To
end of August the first share in the French National Championship
of Pedal Cars, where the Karbyk Official Team gets the 3rd
place for the speed on 19 squares after 12 hours of competition…
|

Is not from less.
|

To Hong Kong, a competition of 24
hours saw - last February - the presence of 7 teams raced with the Karbyk
“made in Italy”: original idea it is the beneficence, but the project it
is a specific championship.
|
|
|

In Italy the pilots of National Aerobatic
Display Team - named “Frecce Tricolori” - ran for supporting
disabled athletes in a special competition to pursuit.
|
|
| |
|
And to Monza autodrome the members of the
“Bicyclists Journalists Italian Association” make a challenge in
a Gran Prix that it is now tradition for the most famous circuit.
|
|
 |
The collaboration continues with foreign
associations (see photo from France) to unify the sportsmen and technicians
rules, point of departure for future European Championship.
|
|
|
|
We return to United Kingdom for take part
at British Pedal Car Championship – this time with a complet team – in
occasion of Leicester Spokesfest, concomitance of HPV World Championship.

Participation at British Pedal Car
Championship is a demonstration of will to consolidate the
presence out of Italy, for value and research one future European
Championship.

|
The International Meeting of HPV into
Monza’s Motordrome is organized to know in Italy this vehicles: some
drivers running a pedal Gran Prix.
|

In September an unusual challenge surely:
make race with 250 pilots, divided in 10 completely fasting teams
of Karbyk, concretized in a fascinating frame to the hotel "Thalassa
Thimi Ama" of Villasimius - in Sardegna region - has satisfied all
the participants.

|
Ambitious projects to confirm
the “International vocation” of this sport and vehicle in continue
evolution.
|

|
1999

Two objects:
Scientific tests have bettered our Karbyk both as a sports
bike, and as an alternative method of city transport.
|
|

|
The results have been published on the
scientific magazine “Application Physiol” and demand also from the
NASA (U.S.A. Space Agency).
|

The same tests will be presented at the “4th
European Velomobile Seminary” in the occasion of the World
Championship.
|
|

|
On the side of the sporting appointment, the share of the "Karbyk
Official Team" to the World Championships of "Human
Powered Vehicle", disputed to Interlaken (Switzerland) reserved
to vehicles in grade to reach at 114 Km/h with her forces only muscular
human!

Second Italian Championship.
Reduced number of races – more time to Scientific
Research in collaboration with the “Department of Sciences and
Biomedical Technologies” of the University of Udine – a first
scientific search is effected, to the purpose to quantify necessary energy
for the move in Karbyk.

An exceptional race of 754
Km in South Africa was held in march 1998: in only three days, from
Port Elizabeth to Kaapstad to demonstration of extraordinary performance (with
the collaboration of the German Team,
“Extreme Sign”).
