2009 sign a turn: the Karbyk
Official Team decides that for protest it won't race to the European
Championships of Pedal Cars (because no French team running in Italy
while we have raced 3 times to Saint Etienne de Chigny…) and it hopes
with this to convince the members of the French association that is
necessary collaborate together everybody for growth.
In alternative we work for an
idea that we want to develop in the future: used the Karbyks “out” of
the competition and show their adaptability not only to the competitions
but also to make alternative tourism.

Il 2009 segna una svolta:
il Karbyk Official Team decide che per protesta non correrà ai
Campionati Europei di Auto a Pedali (perché nessun team francese si è
mai presentato in Italia mentre noi abbiamo corso 3 volte a Saint
Etienne de Chigny…) e spera con questo di convincere il nuovo direttivo
dell’associazione francese che per crescere bisogna collaborare tutti
insieme.
In
alternativa vengono fatte alcune ricognizioni per una idea che
vogliamo sviluppare nel futuro: usare i Karbyk anche “oltre” lo
scopo per cui sono stati progettati – cioè la competizione – e
dimostrare la loro adattabilità non solo alle gare ma anche per
fare turismo alternativo.

This doesn't
mean that it is stopped racing: Villadose town, in the province of
Rovigo, organized a Palio-Karbyk Gran Prix, where to the guide of
our vehicles we find people that didn't even have never seen first these
vehicles and that at the end they are enthusiasm.
As already success
in other occasions, 10 teams composed by the people “common”, of every
sex and age (from 18 to over-60 years) can race having a good time
himself in safety, for an experience almost of other times, but with the
certainty to do a competitive spirit, to create team and to share
unique, simple but real emotions, really "under house" and with our
friends and dearrer relatives.
A “work” that
however leave an indelible smile, first on the face of the participants,
then in the heart of all the presents.

Questo non vuol dire che si smette di correre: a
Villadose, in provincia di Rovigo, viene organizzato quello che ormai è
una costante per il Karbyk Official Team, cioè un Gran Premio-Palio,
dove alla guida dei nostri veicoli troviamo persone che non avevano mai
nemmeno visto prima questi veicoli e che alla fine sono entusiaste.
Come già successo in altre occasioni, 10 squadre composte dalla gente
“comune”, di ogni sesso ed età (da 18 ad over-60 anni) possono correre
divertendosi in sicurezza, per una esperienza quasi d’altri tempi, ma
con la certezza di fare un sano agonismo, creare squadra e condividere
emozioni uniche, semplici ma reali, proprio sotto casa e magari assieme
ai nostri amici e parenti più cari.
Una “fatica” che però lascia un sorriso indelebile, prima sul viso dei
partecipanti, poi nel cuore di tutti i presenti. |

The competition, with the good
and fast presence of foreign teams (to the second place the English
team of the Great Central Racing is placed) take place in
concomitance of 3rd edition of Palio Rojale,
organized really in our Region.
An
event that underlines the simplicity of use and the fun that the
karbyk transmits to the competitors in this competition that is also
folklore and enthusiasm.

La competizione, con l’ottima
presenza di squadre estere (al secondo posto si piazza
la squadra inglese del Great Central Racing) si svolge
in concomitanza con la 3° edizione del Palio Rojale,
organizzata proprio nella nostra Regione.
Un evento
che evidenzia la semplicità d’uso ed il divertimento
che il karbyk trasmette ai concorrenti in questa gara
che è anche folclore e puro entusiasmo.

first year, maintaining raised the standard of the demonstration,
for then to entertain the following year the 6° European

importante: una squadra di 4 piloti tutta nuova, un anno
di lavoro con obiettivi ambiziosi, ma raggiunti. Salire
ancora sul podio del 5° Campionato Europeo di Auto a
Pedali, nella lontana Inghilterra, dove la competizione
è sempre più elevata così come la crescita tecnologia
dei veicoli in gara. Organizzare il 2° Palio Rojale dopo
il successo del primo anno, mantenendo elevato lo
standard della manifestazione, per poi ospitare l’anno
successivo il 6° Campionato Europeo. .

beneficence) founded the classification devoted to the Karbyk vehicles. |

Meeting of HPV into Monza’s
Motordrome is organized to know in Italy this vehicles: some drivers running a
pedal Gran Prix. In
September an unusual challenge surely: make race with 250
pilots, divided in 10 completely fasting teams of Karbyk, concretized in a
fascinating frame to the hotel "Thalassa Thimi Ama" of Villasimius - in Sardegna
region - has satisfied all the participants. |

Il 2000 è un anno molto significativo; il Karbyk
Official Team è presente nel British Pedal Car Championship dimostrando la
volontà di consolidare la propria presenza all’estero, ma anche per verificare
le possibilità di un futuro Campionato Europeo. |
|
A Giugno viene organizzato un Meeting Internazionale di HPV a
Monza per far conoscere in Italia questi veicoli: alcuni partecipanti disputano
anche un vero Gran Premio a pedali in Autodromo.
A settembre una sfida sicuramente insolita: far correre,
suddivisi in 10 squadre completamente digiune di Karbyk, 250 piloti,
concretizzata in una cornice affascinante all’Hotel “Thalassa Timi Ama” di
Villasimius - in Sardegna - che ha soddisfatto tutti i partecipanti.
Progetti ambiziosi a conferma tanto della dimensione
Internazionale di questo sport, quanto della versatilità di un veicolo in
continua evoluzione.

Scientific tests
have bettered our Karbyk both as a sports bike, and as an alternative method of
city transport.

The results have been published on the
scientific magazine “Application Physiol” and
demand also from the NASA (U.S.A. Space Agency).
The same tests will be presented at the
“4th European Velomobile
Seminary” in the occasion of the World Championship.On the side of the sporting appointment, the
share of the "Karbyk Official Team" to the World Championships of
"Human Powered Vehicle", disputed to Interlaken (Switzerland) reserved to
vehicles in grade to reach at 114 Km/h with her forces only muscular human! |

Il 1999 ci ha visto impegnati
su due obiettivi particolarmente impegnativi:
Da un lato l’approfondimento
dei test scientifici, con evidenti migliorie
nello sviluppo del Karbyk come mezzo sportivo,
nonchè alternativo ai mezzi di locomozione nelle
città.
I risultati sono stati
pubblicati sulla rivista scientifica
specializzata “Application Physiol” e richiesti
anche dalla NASA (l’ente spaziale americano).
Sul lato dell’impegno sportivo la partecipazione
del “Karbyk Official Team” ai Campionati
Mondiali di “Human Powered Vehicle”, disputati
ad Interlaken (Svizzera) e riservati a veicoli
in grado di raggiungere i 114 Km/h con la sola forza
muscolare umana!

Reduced number of races – more time to Scientific
Research in
collaboration with the “Department of Sciences
and Biomedical Technologies” of the University
of Udine – a first scientific search is effected,
to the purpose to quantify necessary energy for
the move in Karbyk.
An exceptional race of 754
Km in South Africa was
held in march 1998: in only three days, from
Port Elizabeth to Kaapstad to demonstration of
extraordinary performance (with the
collaboration of the German Team, “Extreme
Sign”). |

Il 1998
vede la nascita del 2° Campionato Italiano, con un numero ridotto di
competizioni per dare spazio a nuove sfide.

Grazie alla collaborazione
con il “Dipartimento di Scienze e Tecnologie
Biomediche” dell’Università degli Studi di
Udine, viene effettuata una prima ricerca
scientifica, allo scopo di quantificare
l’energia necessaria per lo spostamento in
Karbyk.
Realizzare una impresa di eccezionale rilievo;
percorrere 754 Km in 3 giorni nella bellissima
costa meridionale del Sud-Africa. (Quest’ultimo
evento viene realizzato in collaborazione con il
team tedesco dell’Extreme Sign).
